As individuals is our responsibility to build a safer environment not only for us or our brothers and sister, but future generations. Is not all about eating healthy, but also being active. We should all move and do sports, play hide and go seek. Resources say for “Physical activity. You need to be active 60 minutes a day, at least 5 days a week, for 6 out of 8 weeks. As an alternative, you can count your daily activity steps using a pedometer (girls’ goal: 11,000; boys’ goal: 13,000)”( Let's Move (The PALA Challenge). As an individual you need to join a sport or an organization like Enlace who make a difference in our community. Even though we live in a though neighborhood that doesn’t have access to healthy food we could make it work. We know what to eat and not to eat. Try not to eat McDonald’s, Burger King, or Tacos. Stay active, stay strong, stay healthy.
